Ah! My good fellow, I thought you would say that you also use Aconite for fever, and that it is not necessarily Homeopathy. But do you not know of a certain French gentleman who spoke prose all his life without realising it?
My most recent post introduced Dr. James Comptom Burnett and his delightful book: Fifty Reasons for Being a Homeopath . In that blog I outlined the circumstances leading to the writing of thses 50 "missives" which were sent as letters to a young allopathic doctor.

How many times have you wished you could hand your patient a nutritional protocol along with a remedy to help heal their illness? Students and practitioners of homeopathy, are all familiar with Aphorism 3 from Dr. Hahnemann’s seminal work Organon of the Medical Art where he address “maintaining causes” by stating “...the physician must know the obstacles to recovery in each case and be aware to clear them away so that the restoration of health may be permanent”.

“There have been two great revelations in my life. The first was bebop, the second was homeopathy.” Dizzy Gillespie, jazz musician
When my brother John was at our farm, a bee stung him on his eyelid causing pain and rapid swelling. Based on past experience he fully expected his eye to be swollen shut for the next few days. I gave him the homeopathic remedy Apis and within 20 minutes the pain and swelling had completely disappeared and there was no sign of the bee sting. This is an example of the remarkable efficacy of homeopathy.
