What To Expect

Your first consultation will be very thorough and last 1.5 to 2 hours.  Homeopathic treatment is very individualized, not a 'cookie-cutter' approach and your practitioner will want to know all about you.  You'll have the time to share the things that matter most to you, as well as thoroughly discuss your chief health complaints.  Don't be concerned about mentioning something that you think is unusual or unimportant.  It may in fact be a key bit of information for your homeopath!  Prior to your appointment, you will be asked to complete an Intake Questionnaire.  It is designed to help you identify your health concerns and to provide your practitioner with a comprehensive history. Following the initial consultation and a review of your case details, your homeopath will select an appropriate treatment to address your health concerns. Follow up appointments generally last between 30 - 45 minutes and are scheduled to allow the homeopath to chart and follow your healing progress.

What will your Homeopath need to know?

As mentioned, homeopathic treatment is individualized which means that your practitioner will select an homeopathic remedy on the basis of your unique symptoms.  To find the best remedy, your homeopath will want to know all about you, as well as your family health history.  Please help by giving as much accurate, clear information as you can.  Any information that you provide is held in strict confidence.

Teaching Clinic:

The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) operates an on-site Teaching Clinic from September to May, offering homeopathic treatment to the public at affordable, subsidized rates on Fridays between 10am and 7pm by appointment only. Please call CCHM @ 416 966 2350 to book an appointment. Since this is a Teaching Clinic, you will be seen by a Professional Homeopath and your case will be video-taped and sent via live feed to our adjacent classroom.

    Internship Clinic:

    BLUEPRINT Wholistic Health is our affiliate, multidisciplinary Clinic offering patient care in homeopathy, osteopathy, holistic nutrition, Live Blood Cell Microscopy and BioMat destress/detox treatments.  There is an on-site retail homeopathic and nutritional supplement shop.  The Clinic operates year round Monday --Friday 8am to 6pm (open Tuesdays and Thursdays to 7pm), Saturdays 9 to 3pm.  Walk-ins are welcome but we encourage booking an appointment.  Since this is an Internship Clinic, you will be seen by a Professional Homeopath and your case will be observed by up to 5 (silent) student observers.  BLUEPRINT practitioners work as an Integrative team and you will have the advantage of our referral system should you require additional therapy to compliment your homeopathic treatment.  BLUEPRINT takes a 'lifestyle medicine' approach and as part of your homeopathic initial consultation, baseline data will be gathered (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse) as well as food diary/lifestyle/stress analysis.

    Mondays and Tuesdays the Internship Clinic provides an affordable opportunity to experience homeopathic wholistic health care.

    Your 1.5 hour initial consult is just $85 (regularly $225).   Follow-ups are $50 (regularly $95). All consultations are with an experienced homeopathic practitioner!

    The Internship Clinic is unique. Unlike other teaching clinics treatment is given by an experienced Homeopath, while up to 5 students silently observe. This offer is possible as the Internship Clinic subsidizes consultation fees with student tuition to support the clinical education of all future Homeopaths.

    What Our Patients Say

    Over the past few years, hundreds of people of all ages and from all walks of life have visited the clinic seeking safe and effective treatment and wanting a choice in health care.

    Mitchell is a 6 year old boy, the youngest of 4 children in our family and the only one to be diagnosed with mild Autism at the age of 3. At the time of his diagnosis he had no language, was exceptionally hyperactive, Attention Deficit, would tantrum without any apparent reason, including going into screaming rages and mutating self (aggressively slapping the side of his face until his finger imprints could be seen), and had life threatening allergies to nuts especially, and many other everyday foods such as eggs.

    At the recommendation of our Pediatrician, Mitchell received a mild dose of Ritalin. This somewhat calmed him down but had many side effects of which the worst was depression. We spent endless hours trying to console him without any success. At times his slapping became worst, he seemed more sensitive than ever and would at the slightest loud noise show extreme emotional sensitivity.

    At the suggestion of a family member we took Mitchell to see a Homeopathic practitioner (at CCHM) and found the results remarkable. In fact, Mitchell has now been under your care for almost 2 years and today is a very different boy than he was 2 years ago. In addition, we have observed the following changes in him:

      --dramatically improved attention span and language development - he has developed some language (70-80 words) with comprehension being far better. Eye contact, at one time non-existent regardless of his name calling, is very improved.

      --Overall temperament - Mitchell is much more at peace with others and especially himself, the self mutilation has virtually stopped, the rages are far less frequent and significantly shorter in length and interaction with other family members is much better.

      --Curiosity enhancement - general interest in environment is better and comprehension as a result. For example, Mitchell notices television and is showing preferences for childrenís programs especially those featuring music content. Kindergarten music is a favorite and Mitchell frequently requests favorite songs using a combination of words, facial gestures and hand over hand communication.
