Introduction to the CCHM Professional Training Courses
Homeopathy is an exact science based on clearly defined principles and natural laws of healing. The practice of homeopathic medicine is an art which applies this holistic science and philosophy to the individual.
To ensure an exceptional standard of training, the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) offers intensive, specialized programs in homeopathic medicine. Our priority is to make available whatever knowledge, insight, or experience is necessary to become a competent homeopathic practitioner in a successful practice.
Professional Diploma Program
CCHM offers intensive three and four-year part-time training programs with classes beginning in September and January of each year. Classes are held two weekends per month at Northrop Frye Hall in the University of Toronto and at the CCHM location at 1881 Yonge Street, Suite 500, Toronto, Ontario M4S 3C4. In addition, a portion of our health sciences program is delivered online via evening webinars. The three-year program leads to a recognized diploma in classical homeopathy from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine.
Post-Graduate (4th year) Homeopathic Program
Clinical mastery is a goal all homeopaths aspire to but many find difficult to achieve. The purpose of this course is to inspire confidence and increase success in the consulting room. It is intended as an extension to, and a deepening of existing clinical skills following classical Hahnemannian principles of homeopathic casetaking, analysis and case management.
In addition to many live clinic sessions, the casework of the old masters is also studied in order that we may glean pearls of wisdom to guide us in our own practices. Hahnemann encouraged us to “imitate me, but imitate me well”.
Boenninghausen, Lippe, Hering, Pulford, Nash, Wells, etc. followed this advice and achieved unparalleled success in their time. This sort of success is within our reach as well!
Special components on the homeopathic treatment of cancer, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune diseases and animals are also included.
The course is open to all professional homeopaths and naturopaths.
