A Career in Homeopathy
Requirements for Success
As a homeopath, you will hear your patients' life experiences unfold in all their aspects - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. You will need to cultivate an awareness of yourself, especially of your own feelings, as you try to listen as openly as possible to your patients. You must be focused enough to 'find' your patient and, later, to analyze your case and 'find' the matching remedy. You need the skills and determination to set up your own practice and the willingness to attend post-graduate seminars to remain abreast of the latest homeopathic developments.
All of this will contribute to success in your new career in homeopathic healthcare. Look forward to a flourishing career in service to others. There is no nobler calling than this. Homeopathy is so much more than just a job. It is an extremely fulfilling endeavor which gives a great deal of personal satisfaction.
Professional Prospects on Graduating
There is a great demand from the public for good homeopathic health care. Many doctors and specialists now accept the benefits of homeopathic treatment and refer patients to professional homeopaths. Graduates of the College are well-qualified to commence in professional practice. They have the qualities necessary to establish themselves, as well as the skills and confidence for classical homeopathic prescribing and case management. They are kept informed of employment and practice opportunities throughout southern Ontario and the rest of Canada. Many homeopaths also choose to go into private or group practice in multidisciplinary clinics. Whatever your choice, your career in homeopathy will change the lives of many, including yours!
