Homeopathy will not only change your patients' lives,
It will change yours!

“I welcome the opportunity to speak with you if you are considering a career as a homeopathic practitioner.  Having consulted with hundreds of applicants and graduates, I can explain to you first-hand what life at CCHM will be like when you decide this is the path for you.”

Dear Prospective Homeopath

Joyce Edge, Director of AdmissionsYou’re at a very exciting crossroads in your life – deciding what your future is going to look like and what steps you are prepared to take to make it happen.

After all, you are today where your thoughts have brought you – you will be tomorrow where your thoughts will take you.  I invite you to call me so we can have this discussion “live”, but if that isn’t feasible just now, please read on.

CCHM offers you the training that will enable you to help in healing our world, at this time when chronic disease has never been more rampant.  You will be doing a 3-year diploma program on a part-time basis – this allows you to continue to earn an income while you are training, which is an advantage since there is no government assistance available at this time.

If your life circumstances permit you to come to class for your training, I encourage you to do so, as our lecturers bring a wealth of experience, expertise and passion into the classroom.  More than 90% of the homeopathic training component of our program is taught by practising homeopaths with a minimum of 10 years clinical experience – some have been practising for 30 years.  Also, there is a real synergy that grows with your classmates as you spend 3 years of your lives together in the supportive and nurturing environment you will find at CCHM.  When you decide to study homeopathy with us, it will be a life-changing experience for you because, as you learn this fascinating system of medicine, your awareness expands and you evolve as your own person – in fact, most people say it’s the biggest growth experience of their lives – to date, of course, as we always continue growing.

If it’s not possible for you to come to class, then our distance education program is a very viable option for you as well – as long as you do the work, you will receive an excellent education – it just requires more discipline on your part as you do it at your own pace - there is no one chasing you for assignments or saying you have to write a test a week from Saturday.  If your life circumstances should change, and you find at some point in the future that you are able to come to class, you may do any individual year either by distance education or in class, so you have flexibility that way.  We regularly have new “Moms” doing the first year by distance-ed, as they’re home with their infants anyway, and then they come to class for second and third year.

At CCHM, you will learn the clear and comprehensible principles of Hahnemannian homeopathy, the same homeopathy that has been working in the same fashion, treating the same symptoms with the same remedies for the past 200 years, so we know it works – the good news is, it’s equally effective on 21st century diseases.  Throughout our entire program, you will be taught how to apply the very sound principles Hahnemann laid down in his Organon of the Medical Art over 200 years ago, along with contributions made by other masters who continued his work, and you will be exposed to some of the more modern concepts in homeopathy as well.  The benefit to you is that, because the original homeopathy you’re learning at CCHM is based on sound scientific principles, they can be duplicated, and if they can be duplicated, they can be taught.  You have heard that homeopathy is both a science and an art, so you are starting to “craft your own art” as you make your way through the program, collecting and making your own those things that most strongly resonate with you as an individual.

When you have completed your diploma program, you may choose to continue your education in our post-graduate program.  It is designed to give you an anchor to hang on to as you’re starting your own practice, a forum to bring in your own difficult cases and have them discussed, and also to network with your peers and continue your learning experience, as that will go on forever with homeopathy.

I really welcome the opportunity to speak with you if you’re considering a career in this incredible system of medicine, so that I can explain to you first-hand what your life is going to look like if you do ultimately decide this is the right path for you.

We have monthly information sessions on a weekday evening at 6pm, and we also have ‘Student for a Day’ opportunities whereby you may sit in on a weekend homeopathy lecture – I would be happy to coordinate a time for you, please just let me know.

Sincerely,

Joyce Edge, Director of  Admissions
